Focus on capturing the essence of your subjects as well as establishing a deeper connection as you learn to create memorable portraits from the pros. Determine the best way to work with singular and group subjects, utilize continuous and flash lighting, leverage accessories to strengthen your portraiture work and take your people images to the next level.
We invite you to meet us at a specially-chosen venue near one of our Camera Experience Shops. After a brief introduction, we will rotate through photo stations addressing various topics such as lighting, composition, capturing details, and considering various elements that make for a successful photo.
Enjoy continuous access to professional photographers and our Blue Shirt Camera Experts and take the opportunity to try out an array of lenses, cameras and accessories. Please bring a government-issued photo ID in order to borrow the latest gear.
You are required to bring your personal DSLR or Mirrorless Camera to the workshop. If you are a beginner, it's encouraged that you first attend a free Photo Workshop at a Best Buy Camera Experience Shop to learn the basics of photography. Click here to learn more and find a class near you.
Please Note: You must be 16 or older to participate. If you are 16-18 years old (except residents of AL and NE, 16-19 years old), your parent or legal guardian must sign a waiver at the time of check-in and accompany you at all times during the workshop. Otherwise, you may not attend.
